This monitor shelf was fabricated using 6061 aluminum with a 4T thickness and finished with anodizing. The design focuses on achieving a minimal and simple profile while maintaining sufficient structural rigidity.
The 4T aluminum plate was selected to secure stiffness and stability without introducing additional structural elements. By minimizing thickness-related visual weight and avoiding unnecessary components, the shelf maintains a clean, unobtrusive presence on the desk.
The form is defined by a single aluminum plate, processed and finished as a standalone structure. Surface treatment through anodizing enhances durability and ensures consistency in appearance while protecting the material for long-term use.
